Fibromyalgia affects up to 5% of the population and causes lots of pain for the sufferer. A cross-sectional study shows that the AtlasPROfilax® method (neuromuscular stimulation of the suboccipital musculature) directly decreases pain in patients with fibromyalgia, from a painful VAS 8 to a 4 after two months and a 3 after six months.
